Bucket of Hope

Our church joined in on a project to pragmatically help some of the disaster victims in Haiti through a ministry called Buckets of Hope. Our family made a bucket:
After we purchased the items, Daniel and I prayed over the recipient family. Next, we packed the items as instructed while Wesley cruised around the couch, ottoman, and bucket (can you believe he is already cruising at 8 months!!). Daniel then tried to add some of his toys to the mix, but being that it explicitly says not to deviate from what they asked you to pack, we took them out :O).

It was a fun project that was easily accomplished. In fact, Thomas watched Wesley while Daniel and I shopped. He got to use his very own mini-cart at the store as he looked for items that matched his picture list. He felt so big!

Consider making one of you own today! You may have a church near you collecting them. Hurry though….they want the buckets assembled and dropped off by March 15th.
