Vox Hunt: Crush Song

Audio: Share a song that makes you think of your crush.
Submitted by ♥Voxy Lady M♥.

Well, I am not sure how to post an audio, so I am going to give the lyrics of a song that makes me think of my crush= my husband.

We played this song four years ago today at our wedding!!! It was burned on a random CD that our friend Jeff made for us right when we started dating. I guess he knew all along!

It speaks perfectly what we felt in our relationship and it still rings true today, and if you want a clue into how we hooked up, you can read this post.

Ed Cash’s “Marry Me”

-Verse-
I knew the moment I first saw you, our love was meant to be
It was only a matter of God’s time
My instincts said to marry you,
Patience said to wait,
But I knew to let you go would be a crime.

Well I’ve seen so many faces,
I’ve seen so many smiles
But you are the only one for me.
And I know what grace is, cause I’ve walked a million miles,
And after that my Jesus set me free.

-Chorus-
So won’t you marry me?
I’m down on my knee,
And carry me,
through the peaks and valley’s,
pray with me,
Walk with me through this life,
I’m asking you to be my wife.

-Verse-
I can’t wait to share my life with you,
I can’t wait to make love,
I can’t wait to give you all I’ve got to give.

Three way communication
And sweet compromise.
I can’t wait for God to show us how to live.
Well I’ll be with you forever, and I know you feel the same,
Ain’t no sense in getting married, any other way.

Carrie, I hear sweet music at the sound of your name,
And I hope I never have to live another day,
without you, soo

-Chorus-
So Marry Me?
I’m down on my knee,
And carry me,
through the peaks and valley’s,
pray with me,
Walk with me through this life,
I’m asking you to be my wife .
