Daniel has learned to sit up on his own. He really likes sitting up, and when he is strapped into his carseat, he continually tries to lean forward and treat it more like a chair, rather than a recliner. Although he has good control, he has not mastered the skill completely. I still put the Boppy behind him at times and if a toy gets away, he will stretch beyond his balance point to get it; you will hear a “THUMP,” followed by some crocodile tears. And, despite my extra nursing sessions and cramming of more baby food, Daniel does not have a single baby fat roll. He’s my little skinny-mini baby.
